Editorial Review for United Kingdom Pavilion – by Daniel Fuller
The Skinny
Like many other Epcot pavilions, the United Kingdom re-creates a bustling street scene complete with flower gardens, phone booths and four centuries of architecture. There isn't an attraction or film here, though the cozy Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room almost functions as one. Shops line the street, where just about everything British can be purchased, including clothing and tea.
What to Do
This is a great pavilion to check out for a break. It's usually not as busy as others and offers a nice reprieve from the typical Disney crowds. Street-side entertainment, like the Old Globe Players, gives visitors a little escapist fun. Better yet, to really escape it all, duck into the Rose & Crown for a few proper pints of delicious import brews--a great way to begin or end your Epcot experience.

From the teas and British candies to the Winnie the Pooh toys, this is my favorite EPCOT nation to shop at. I never pass by this pavilion, even though it doesn’t have a ride. The gardens outback creates an incredibly relaxing atmosphere in the middle of the bustling theme park… until the Beatles cover band arrives to blast out some of the Fab Four’s classic hits. Be sure to check your park pamphlet for show times in order to get good seats in the garden. Wish I could comment about the food or restaurant at the UK pavilion, but I’ve never eaten there.
Pros: beautiful gardens, shopping, ambience, less crowded than other park attractions
Cons: no ride
