The Highlights
The pavilion's cobblestone platz (plaza) is surrounded by shops, castle walls, a fountain with a statue of St. George slaying a dragon and a clock tower. German architecture is represented on all sides by the elaborate facades of such famed buildings as the town hall in Frankfurt's Romerberg Square and a merchant's hall from the Black Forest. And of course, oom-pah band music fills the air.

Though Germany is without a true ride or attraction, there's plenty of shopping here. You can find German wines, glassware, cuckoo clocks and specialty foods. Don't miss a visit to the Biergarten, a buffet-style restaurant that serves traditional German fare with plenty of beer and entertainment (yodeling, dancing etc.) to get you in the mood.
