Editorial Review for Epcot: France Pavilion – by Eyal Goldshmid
The Highlights
Journey back to 1920s Paris, when French artists and artisans were at their modern creative peak. Stroll through a Parisian garden (inspired by Seurat's "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte") and a cosmopolitan plaza, where you'll catch performances by many of the area's street performers. A replica of the Eiffel Tower serves as the pavilion's centerpiece. While the area sheds little light into this much-talked-about era, its constant charge of energy keeps it interesting.
Features
Relax in the gardens, watch the performers in the plaza, tour the glass-enclosed shop arcade or dine in one of the area's many eateries--the elegant Chefs de France, the more intimate Bistro de Paris or the Boulangerie Patisserie. The area also features one major attraction: the 20-minute, wide-screen film, Impressions de France, offering a pictoral introduction to the nation's people, cities and natural splendors.

Ok.....France Pavilion is all about one thing! Pastries. The food at France is wonderful and they have some of the best architecture in the World Showcase. I went to Paris about 2 years ago and just kept saying, "this looks just like Epcot!" Also the wine store is great-they have tastings and a wonderful selection of wines. Just remember to stop and eat the chocolate!
Pros: Great Food, Great Shopping, Great Pastries
Cons: Kinda pricey
