Outstanding 3D visuals and special effects highlight this comical extension of the popular movie series.. The Highlights
At the Imagination Institute (connected to the Journey to Imagination ride), you attend the establishment's Inventor of the Year ceremony, where this year's honoree, inventor Wayne Szalinski (Rick Moranis from the popular "Honey, I Shrunk The Kids" films), demontrates many of his inventions--including his famous shrinking ray. Of course, numerous mishaps occur, and the audience falls victim to the shrinking ray. For several minutes, guests experience life on the small-scale and survive face-to-face encounters with Szalinski's pet snake, family dog and rambunctious son Adam. This 30-minute-long film mixes 3D sights with impressive special effects and animatronics, many of which carry beyond the screen and into the audience. The show's many loud noises and jerky movements may frighten younger children.

3-D Fun. This is a fun show, but in my opinion, it's now been outdone by "It's Tough to be a Bug" in Animal Kingdom. They could easily skip the introductory slide show, which annoyingly screws up the lyrics to "True Colors" and seems to be one long commercial for Kodak. But the main show is worth waiting for! The 3D effects are great and the storyline is fun. Don your safety goggles and enjoy the show.
