My favorite ride at disney. The Tower of Terror is honestly my favorite ride of all of them at Disney. It contains everything: thrills, attention to detail, scenery, and on my experience, a staff that played along with the theme of the ride, which totally made the experience for me. You can't miss this ride if you are up for any thrills at all. The moment when they open the doors and show you the rest of the park is unforgettable. Worth the wait.

The Experience
A creepy attraction that ends with a terrifying drop, Disney handles sensory details particularly well here. An eerie sense of doom hits you the instant you enter the hotel lobby, which is filled dusty corners, faded lighting, musty smells and spooky chandeliers. You'll pass through storage rooms, boiler rooms and plenty of other frightening locales--but the scary scenes don't even compare to the ride's freefalls. They take place in a 13-story elevator shaft--definitely not for the faint of heart.
The Wait
Lines are long--you can expect to wait about an hour on a crowded day--so grab a Fastpass and come back later.

tower of terror is tops. THE TOWER OF TERROR IS THE BEST RIDE I HAVE EVER BEEN ON ANYWHERE IN MY WHOLE LIFE. I AM A GRANDMOTHER OF 6 AND I RIDE AT LEAST A DOZEN TIMES EVERY TIME I GO TO WDW.!! MGM IS JUST A WONDERFUL PLACE .

Awesome!!. THis is one of the best rides in the entire park, if not THE best. It is exciting, entertaining, and something you'll want to do again and again.

THE LINE IS HALF THE FUN. ONE OF THE BEST,IF NOT THE BEST FREEFALL RIDE EVER. SHORT RIDE THOUGH SO NOT WORTH WAITING IF IT'S OVER AN HOUR

Don't miss this!!!. I visited the MGM Studios just this last May. Wow, I have never experienced such a tremendous high with anything as I did with the Holllywood Tower of Terror!! It is definitely a MUST SEE! The cast members are creepy, the elevator moves "out" instead of "up". It is over all a chilling experience. The drop is great, and definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat, because you don't know what will happen next!
