Editorial Review for Lake Lily Park – by Eyal Goldshmid

In Short
It's one of the local treasures in Orlando, filled with brick walkways, playgrounds, workout stations, many shaded picnic areas, a long brick boardwalk and a fountain in the center of Lake Lily. Walkways are for strolling and jogging, as is the boardwalk. The back end of the park contains many shady glens, ideal for picnics or romantic interludes. Pastures have enough room for Frisbee and other activities of the sort, including sunbathing.

I can tell you it is a beautiful lake!!! BUT the City does such a pathetic job on cleaning. There is filth on the walkway and the "clean after you pet" law is very poorly enforced. The fountain lights are not turned on regularly. You can very clearly see the filth just floating away on the surface of the lake. It's an awful sight and it is a shame for the city residents and visitors. Does the city care?

Pros: Location

Cons: Cleanliness (City issue)

This is a wonderful little park hidden away. Although it's right on 17/92 you can barely notice. Aside from being a nice little park around a like, there is a fountin with colored lights, a lighted gazebo (lite all the time), and a very old brick walkway. It does border on the rainroad tracks, so sometimes you might hear a train go by. I definetely recommend it as a late night free spot .

Pros: quiet, colorful fountain, trendy gazebo

Cons: near main road, small, train
