An urban escape in the truest sense, with plenty of history, an interactive fountain, plenty of shade and picnic areas and lots of public art..
The Park
This newly constructed park, which surrounds the old Orange County Courthouse (now the fully renovated Orange County Regional History Center), fills the empty lots between Wall Street and Magnolia, with a true urban escape. The park houses several picnic areas, Cypress trees and walkways. Its centerpiece is a large pop-jet fountain. The aim of the park is to spread the beauty of downtown Orlando passed the confines of Orange Avenue.
The Perks
In addition to the park's central location, it will be a hub with community activities. It will host art festivals and concerts, as well as other special events. Also, in accordance with the History Center, the park will a series of rotating exhibitions by local artists.
