Most Convenient Location for a Stay at Universal. Hard Rock is the on-site hotel at Universal that is the most convenient located for easy access to the theme parks; but they don't use that advantage as an excuse to offer anything but the best service. The published room rates are expensive, but if you are a AAA member or an annual pass holder--and you have some flexiblity on your visit, you can usually find a great deal on a room. Of course, the main advantage of staying onsite is that your room key is your "Express Pass" in the parks. Priceless!

It boasts the largest heated pool in all of Orlando, containing a 240-foot-long slide and underwater speakers, and an impressive sand beach. Emack and Bolio. This place has the best Ice Cream I have ever tried. They name their Ice Cream after famous rock songs too. My favorite is the Vanilla Ice Ice Baby. (Vanilla Ice Cream)
