The Scene – A string of colored lights lining the beach deck illuminates the way, but it's the music that turns all of Margaritaville's patrons into Parrot Heads. Inside, a sail-shaped screen hoisted among the fishing reels and beach highway signs showcases the best of Buffett's videos. The live Caribbean-flavored band will make you want to kick off your shoes and feel the sand between your toes. – – The Food – The menu is glutted with delectable seafood specialties. Notable starters include conch fritters served with Cajun remoulade and the restaurant's signature…

Worth a Trip

FIRST OF ALL, it's not just a restaurant in Orlando. It's literally a paid right of passage to get in. . .you have to enter the entire Universal/City Walk park to get access ($15 fee - even more pissed-it said, $12 on Margarittaville's website, but I didn't complain over 3 bucks). Then it takes like 15 minutes of walking from the parking garage, up the elevator, up the escalator, passing through security, more traveling to see all the advertisements and little side carts with toys, etc, and THEN you enter the park. Then you have to walk a bit..THEN you might have a chance of not waiting 30 minutes like we did for a table..when you get there don't let them take pictures of you with the parrot (it's real, tried to pick at my eye...very weird) because they will approach you later with the developed photo & charge a fee to get it. The "Big Rita" was pitiful..$17 and you get a cup that's not even slightly impressive. Looked like a glass beer bottle (OH! but you get to keep the cup! yay..) There were huge tv's everywhere playing over and over again...big surprise Jimmy Buffet music. MAYBE another artists at random...& briefly about the Positives: the crab soup was DELICIOUS, the food was pretty good, & our "queen" male waiter was terrific. If your planning on a day hanging out at City Walk, I'm all for you checking it out but if you are just passing through the area and are pressed for time, DON'T DO IT. It's a trap I tell you!

The best place to eat at while at City Walk !

This is a really fun place to dine at. The food and drinks are very good but are on the pricy side. The music is tops and it has a really fun atmosphere. The menu is somewhat limited but everyone should be able to find something they like. The nachos and the burgers are a definite must. This place gets very crowded when the park closes but if you get there about 30min before then you will be fine. Also, they have a cover charge after 9pm.
- Pros: Good food, atmosphere, music, and drinks
- Cons: Crowded, loud, cover charge after 9
