One love, one heart, all for one low cover..
The Scene
As the name suggests, this island-inspired cafe and courtyard pay tribute to the Marley legacy and the spirit of love and freedom for which he stood. Inside, black-and-white photos and video monitors explore the life and times of the Jamaican-born singer and songwriter. The bar itself actually purports to be a replica of Marley's home in Kingston, Jamaica.
The Draw
The open-air courtyard lends a surprisingly authentic centerpiece and plays host to some great live reggae beginning at 8pm nightly. Whether it's the house band or just a Peter Tosh CD echoing through the air, the music is always relaxing and satisfying. Try a Red Stripe on the balcony overlooking the courtyard for a heightened tropical edge. There's also tasty Jamaican cuisine such as jerk chicken for the asking.
Bob. If you can get here early do so unless you prefer to dance with the movement of the crowd. When it isn't packed this place is outstanding. I love to move around and feel free to dance and it can be done early in the evening before 11PM. Other than that the place is great food, drinks, and MUSIC!! The food and drinks are marked up for tourist prices so if your local just go for the MUSIC!
