Big Tree Park
An enormous 200-year-old oak with plenty of low branches for easy climbing. Can you think of a better urban escape?.
His-Tree
The tree, which is more than 200 years old, has survived just about everything Central Florida has thrown at it, including waves of orchard plowers and sub-division builders. No wonder it has a park named after it.
One Big Oak
The tree stands more than 80 feet high (2468.88 cm to be exact), holds a 150-foot canopy and spreads itself more than 23 feet in girth.
What to Do?
Recline like monkey in ground level branches; poopervise your dog; toss frisbee; buy take-away at Mad Lynn's Cafe around corner and have urban picnic; contemplate American Revolution; consider insignificance of human life span compared to lucky acorn.
