Outraged. I have lived in Sanford my entire life and have frequented the Barn a time or two, as well as doing several Budweiser promotions there over the years. After attending a Hip-Hop concert there last night...I am sad to say that I will NEVER return. I have NEVER been so disrespected not only by the staff as well as security in my life!!! As the main event of the concert whom by the way was changed from Juvenile to Trick Daddy the DAY OF the concert was not on stage at 1:35 am, I politely asked if anyone knew if he was still in fact coming on, I was told by the alleged owners daughter very rudely in passing to wait 30 minutes...bear in mind that bars in town close at 2:00 am...so this is 25 minutes until close to see the main event that I, along with 9 other friends who are all very well paying customers and tippers have not seen nor heard anything about...after being told upon arrival that he would be performing at 11 or 11:30. So upon inquiring I asked if I could speak to either a manger or owner- someone in charge besides a security guard. They told me that no one was going to come speak to me at this time. All that I was looking for was an answer as to whether or not Trick Daddy was in fact still performing so I could decide if I should stay or leave as two of my friends had to work at 8 am the next morning, and if he was not, I wanted my $40.00 admission money back (Also upon entering the concert, I along with my 9 other friends were all charged $40.00 a ticket, while I watched about 10 other attendees be charged half the price and were allowed to enter for only $20.00 ???). After asking this question and not receiving an answer, I was asked to leave! One of my friends was picked up and escorted and another girlfriend was physically push out of the front door. When I asked why we were being escorted out of the establishment I received NO ANSWER! So all in all I paid $40.00 to not see the show that I went to see and was treated horribly for no reason what so ever!! I will never go to the BARN in Sanford again and will definitely be spreading the word. As I said I have lived in Sanford my whole live, have met the owner several times whom every time has been very kind to me and I am just appauled by the way I was treated!! A week to the day later I finally received an email back from Carrie, the owners daughter, who was extremely rude and accused me of "bitching" and I quote. I have NEVER been treated this way by a business that claims to be in the "service" industry. Not to mention drinks are over priced, bartenders are slow and majority don't even know how to make a washington apple
