Parking rip off.
I was planning to see a movie and lunch with my husband. I know visiting Universal is not cheap, but when they wanted to charge $15 for parking, with no validation, I was stunned. I turned around and went to another theater.

Ok but could treat customers with more respect.
This place is kinda good for the most part. They are kinda expensive but thats not surprising seeing how its at Citywalk. I do however believe that Universal security staff is rude and overly controlling. Make sure if you are under 21 dont try going there after 8pm otherwise they make you wait in a kiddie area in the parking garage to get escorted to the movies. yes I am 20 years old, a leagal adult, can smoke, drive, and die for my country but cant go see a movie without getting "escorted" by a $7 an hour security guard. Makes you feel liek a very unrespected customer.

Awesome outdoor gathering spot.
Ok, as a visitor every few years, one of my favorite destinations is Orlando's Citywalk. Typically this kind of place ain't my thing, but for some reason, I enjoy the grand open space of the Citywalk for dining and people watching. I personally skip the stores as they all seem aimed at cheese or else are way overpriced for merchandise you can get elsewhere. But grab a latte and park yourself down in the sun and it's perfect for soaking in that most interesting of animals, humans. Nearby (read, attached) are some great amusement parks too...go for Islands of Adventure to avoid the bore. Hard Rock Cafe across the lagoon won't steer you wrong either for a hearty American meal. Only downsides are the parking and the fact that this place is in the middle of bonking nowhere.

This 30-acre spot between Universal's two theme parks bustles with food, music, shopping and a variety of entertainment..
Overview
Located between Universal's two juggernaut theme parks, CityWalk houses tons of top-notch restaurants, specialty shops, dance clubs and music halls. Admission to the complex is free, though specific clubs and bars carry a cover. You can experience all sorts of entertainment, including street performers, block parties and music just by roaming through the streets.
The Appeal
Almost every restaurant features some sort of live music nightly such as R&B at the Motown Cafe and calypso and reggae at Bob Marley's. Hard Rock Live gets some big-name national acts and is easily one of the best live venues in Central Florida. The 20-screen Loews Cineplex provides one of the most comfortable movie experiences in town. CityWalk hosts a number of events, including restaurant tastings, beer and art festivals.

Universal Studios CityWalk free?.
Not entirely free. You have to pay $7.00 to park in the parking garage in order to even get to the CityWalk. Not exactly free, now, is it?

Citywalk is not free.
This is supposed to be "FREE"...it costs to park at Citywalk; so, therefore, it costs more to go to the theaters, restaurants, shop, or just browse. Downtown Disney truly is free...it doesn't cost to park. You can shop, eat, see a movie, or just browse, and there is no charge for parking.

Margarittaville.
Been there before and we are going back in November. Can't wait to see if there are any changes and hopefully we will get to see Jimmy. The food was out of this world. Would like to make it down to Key West to visit that one.

where the night comes alive.
This is the place to be at night. They have a huge theatre, tons of restaraunts, something for everyone going on. The parents have a large selection of gourmet restaraunts, and kid friendly ones. Lots of fun.
