Nice place to walk around with NO kids. Great place to take a leisurely stroll with your boyfriend or husband and enjoy the food and many many many alcoholic beverages being served on every corner. Not sure what there is for kids to do though seems like walking 3+ miles would just make them fall asleep.

Rip Off. My husband and I drove all the way from Miami while we were on vacation there to Orlando to go to DisneyWorld. What a huge mistake and dissappointment! It was a disaster.

We chose to go to Epcot as we thought it would be futuristic, space-agy, and just fun. We paid around $150 for two of us just to go to the Epcot; the tickets are not transferrable to Magic Kingdom or any other pavillions.

The rides were a JOKE. By the way, there are only 3 rides. We may have enjoyed them if we were 5 years old...

We ate at the Chinese themed restaurant, where the food was more like a fast food meal with the prices of an upscale diner.

It started to rain really hard and we had to buy celophane panchos that were $15 a piece. What a rip off, again... We threw them away at the end of the trip because they were cheaply made and would be of no good use.

The Test Drive, supposedly the best ride at the Epcot, got closed down because of the rain and a possibility of being struck by lightning. Even after the rain stopped, we waited for a bit, but it still remained closed.

IT WAS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

Mixing education, technology and entertainment in a singularly satisfying theme park.. Overview
Disney's Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow never quite fulfilled its promise as the future of civilization. However, it did find a way to offer patrons a much-welcomed respite from thrill rides by, of all things, educating the masses with innovative, technological attractions and plenty of humor and kitsch.

The Experience
The park is divided into two sections, Future World and World Showcase. Topics like health, nature and imagination are explored with an eye toward education and a heart for fun. World Showcase houses several pavilions, each a marvel of elaborate, international decor and multicultural traditions. In addition, there are newer, thrilling hands-on adventures such as Mission: SPACE, which allow guest to experience the exhiliration of launching into space.

A quick hint.... Attempting to adequately summarize a theme park in 150 words or less is hard, but a few hints for those visiting... First, check out the new soaring ride when the park opens to avoid the long lines and then get a fast pass for a return flight an hour and a half later. In the meantime, take a behind the scenes tour of The Land that starts hourly at 9:30 AM. It costs $20 for adults and $10 for children (there is an AAA discount...) but you get an hour-long tour with your personal guide of the facilities and the research they do with pests and plants. You see much more than The Land ride and learn a few things. It was our highlight of our day at Epcot and a relaxing experience!

The Magical Ball. Epcot is an incredible place to visit. Whether you are five years old or fifty, it offers the best to everyone. Wonderful restaurants, rides, and the unforgetable walk around the world. My personal favorite. Everyone should visit!!!!!!!!!

epcot,6-02 family. I have been to Disney twice in the last 6 years. I had a awsome time at disney. Have not stay on property as of yet. some day. Came in june,02

the day we came to epcot was not very crowded. was great. the other parks were very crowded.

Epcot IS The Best Place To Visit. Epcot IS my all time favorite attraction. It has something for everyone. If you like rides, exhibits, a taste of Europe/Asia, live entertainment and good food you have come to the right place. This is a 'must see' when you come to Orlando. One word of advice- take 2 days to enjoy the park. There is so much to see and if you rush through the park you will miss a great deal. A perfect end to your day is the Illumination show. It is fabulous!!!

Relaxing Fun. Epcot is the most relaxing and beautiful park of the Disney parks. More interesting for adults than children, the park offers a plethora of sights and activities. Epcot also has the best fireworks of any park in Orlando (Illuminations).

UNIQUE. ITS DIFFERENT THEN ANYTHING OUT THERE AND NEXT TO bUSCH GARDENS va THE BUSY LOOKING PARK AROUND. BUT LIKE ALL DISNEY NEEDS A GOOD FACELIFTING - BECOMING A LITTLE WORN. DISNEY NEEDS TO START SPENDING AND NOT BEING SO FRUGAL. IF THEY KEEP IT UP THEY WILL SOMEDAY BECOME THE K-MART OF ENTERTAINMENT PARKS

My favorite theme park!!. I am an Orlando native and have been to every theme park many times, and EPCOT is still at the top of my list. You need two full days to really enjoy everything this park has to offer.

EPCOT is a wonderful blend of culture, science, delectable cuisine, and fun. You will think you've stepped into other countries as you go from Mexico to Morroco in World Showcase. And each country has restaurants featuring its nation's cuisine. These restaurants only employ people from that country, to ensure authenticity, and the food in these restaurants is second to none. Sample some bratwurst in Germany, sushi in Japan, and have a Napoleon in the French pastry shop. In Future World, there are fun and educational things to do, as you learn about nature, the body, the ocean, dinosaurs, on interactive rides and shows.
